Join us for DoCSoc's most prestigious event of the year: the Madge–Swarnakar Dinner. Set against the stunning backdrop of Bankside's iconic UnderGlobe.

The evening begins with a 45-minute sparkling wine reception, giving you the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, meet fellow students, and enjoy the atmosphere before dinner. Guests will then be seated for a two-course formal dinner, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person (with non-alcoholic alternatives available throughout the evening).

Alongside exceptional food and drinks, the night will feature performances, presentations, and entertainment, celebrating the people who make our community so special. Once dinner concludes, the formalities give way to an evening of music, dancing, and celebrations, as we continue the festivities late into the night.

Ticketing Information:

Once you have successfully reserved a ticket on TicketTailor, make sure to complete your purchase on the Union Shop within 1 hour to confirm your ticket. After purchasing on the Union Shop, we’ll send your e-ticket closer to the event.

Tickets are non-transferable. We will verify names on the day, so be sure to bring your e-ticket and physical ID. If you can no longer attend, please let us know ASAP by emailing docsoc@ic.ac.uk for a refund. Refunds are only given with more than 48 hours notice before the start of the event.

We are also offering +1 tickets for this event. If you would like to bring a guest, simply reserve and purchase a +1 ticket through the normal TicketTailor and Union Shop process. All attendees, including guests, must have a valid ticket to attend.

Seating Information:

Guests will be seated at allocated tables throughout the evening. If there are specific people you would like to be seated with, please email docsoc@ic.ac.uk  by Tuesday and we will do our best to accommodate requests. While we cannot guarantee all seating arrangements, we will try to ensure groups and friends can enjoy the evening together where possible.

A Few Key Reminders:

• Purchase your ticket on the Union Shop within 1 hour of successfully reserving a ticket on TicketTailor
  
• You must be a DoCSoc member to attend. Membership can be purchased after reserving your ticket on TicketTailor, but it must be completed before purchasing on the Union Shop.
• Tickets are non-transferable, and names will be checked at the venue.
• This event is 18+ only. Make sure to bring a physical Government Issued ID to the event. If you do not provide a physical government-issued ID, you will be refused entry.
• Failure to follow ticketing instructions may result in restricted access to future events, including IC Hack.
